Fish Oil

The fat or oil derived from fish tissue is known as fish oil. Omega-3s make up around 30% of fish oil, while other fats make up the other 70%. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are the two primary forms of omega-3s found in fish oil.

Omega-3 fatty acids are the building blocks for hormones that govern blood coagulation, artery wall contraction and relaxation, and inflammation. Omega-3s have also been shown to increase protein synthesis.

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol-D3) is a lipid-soluble vitamin that aids in calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus absorption. Currently, vitamin D paucity and scantiness is a worldwide health problem that affects three out of four Americans and over one billion infants and adults.

Preeclampsia, autoimmune disorders, toxic diseases, cardiovascular disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, and neurological disorders have all been linked to vitamin D inadequacy.

Vitamin D has been associated with decreased inflammation and pain, reduced fracture risk, increased testosterone in people who were vitamin D deficient, and increased muscle protein and type II muscle fibers.

A simple way to tell if you are deficient in vitamin D is to order a vitamin D test from your medical practitioner.

L-theanine

L-theanine, also regarded as r—glutamylethylamide and N⁵-ethyl-L-glutamine, is an amino acid analogue of the proteinogenic amino acids L-glutamate and glutamine that is found predominantly in botanical and fungal species.

It is available in two forms: L-theanine and D-theanine, with L-theanine being the more prevalent.

L-theanine is hypothesized to function by suppressing "excitatory" brain chemicals that cause stress and anxiety while boosting brain chemicals that promote relaxation. L-theanine promotes sleep, attentiveness, and immunity while decreasing anxiety and stress.
