A multivitamin is a combination of vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients the manufacturer decides to throw in. Magnesium, vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin A are the most frequent ingredients found in multivitamins.

Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that is vital for hundreds of metabolic activities as well as a variety of other significant body functions. Magnesium can enhance exercise performance, improve sleep quality, cognitive function, improve heart health and insulin sensitivity.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is evident in citrus fruits and vegetables and is also available as a dietary supplement. Vitamin C improves immunity, promotes iron absorption, stimulates collagen production, and reduces exercise-related oxidative stress.

Zinc

Zinc is a trace element that is present in red meat, poultry, and seafood. Zinc improves immunity, reduces inflammation, and aids in cellular proliferation and glucose digestion.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that is essential by humans. Vitamin A is essential for immune function, eyesight, reproduction, and morphogenesis.
